Ville had to look away and blink his eyes. He couldn't see Cassy like that. She was clearly very upset that he might have to leave her. He couldn't cry but he had broken her heart. Ville took a shaky breath and looked back at her. He leaned in and kissed her lightly on the cheek. "Okay, you can come..." He decided that he'd rather have her have the baby out on tour than him miss the birth of his first child. He would never forgive himself if he missed Dmitri's birth. "And we're coming with you of course, Ville," Bam added with no room for argument.

Cassy smiled gently as he told her that she could come with. That relieved pressure on her shoulders. Fear instantly lifted and her eyes glittered with remnants of tears but weren't really tears themselves. She felt Luxor's feet on her legs, and she laughed quietly. Reaching out and petting the dog's head, the youngest of the group relaxed, only to cringe again. "Obviously Dmitri doesn't like it in here," Cassandra snickered, relaxing her posture once again. The baby had kicked again. Cassy kissed Ville's cheek when he came close enough, and Cassy sat up straight, well almost straight, and Luxor licked her face. "Good boy," she giggled and looked to a nurse. "Can I go home now?" "Wouldn't you like to wait for your friend?" "Good point."
In the x-ray room, Mint had been helped on to the table, and they took the x-rays fairly quickly. Taking a quick breath, she bit her tongue and helped herself down off the table, bumping her ankle. That hurt really bad. Blink. One nurse was watching her. Can I help you? It's really not polite to stare, Mint thought. She didn't like being watched. The nurse came up to her, and went to say something. "Umm. Are you Missy?" "Missy? No. I'm Mint." "Oh. I thought Bam Margera was engaged to a woman named Missy." "Oh. I'm sorry. Something came between them, and the wedding was cancelled. He's engaged to me now," Mint's voice was soft. "And is that really Cassandra Emily and Ville Valo in the same room?" "Yes." Mint's eyes grew cold. "If the baby gets out in the press, I'll come after you...."
"Miss Haku! It's just a bad twist. It's pretty bruised but not anything that can't be fixed in a couple of weeks." Another nurse had appeared with a smile. "Thank you, Jenna," Mint smiled sweetly, and when she turned to the first nurse the sweet smile became sadistic. She was helped out of the room and back to the group. "It's just a twist, loves."

ON TOUR
"Ugh, I'm going to have to get used to this again," Ville said as he threw piles of laundry off his bunk and into the floor. "Hey!" Mige laughed. "That's mine!" "Yeah, I know. But this is my bed," Ville retorted. Bam chuckled from the top bunk. Bam and Ville were bunking because Cassy needed to be on a bottom bunk in her 'condition' and Ville couldn't take the top either. This ceiling was shorter than their old bus and he kept hitting his head. "Hey, Bammie?" "Yeah." "Where are the girls? It's been a while since they left." "I dunno." Bam slid off the top bunk and landed on the floor with a thud. "They can't have gone too far though. I mean, we're only in Memphis and Cassy's getting well along. Now, if we were in Las Vegas or Miami, I don't think pregnancy would be an issue..." Bam drawled. "Of course," Ville said with a chuckle. "Watch us get to Miami and they'll both be running around like mad." "But no worries in Elvis country," Bam joked. "Right." Ville and Bam were both surprised that Cassy and Mint had been so eager and peppy on tour. So far, things had gone off without a hitch but the shows almost every night were very tiring. The bus was cramped with ten people, plus another bus for the road crew. They could usually fit twelve people on the bus but extra space was being used for equipment storage. So, here was the bus line-up: Ville, Bam, Mint, Cassy, Mige, Linde, Gas, Burton, Seppo the manager, and Vihtori the bus driver.
"It's boring around here without Mint," Bam suddenly said. "She'll be back soon. They just went shopping, right?" Ville asked. "Yeah, I think so." Ville was looking at a calendar hanging on the wall. Free time tonight, Memphis tomorrow, then Washington DC, then free time in Miami. Then two Miami shows. Wow. A very packed week.
((Let's have Cassy go into labor soon. Like, Miami or Washington DC???? maybe??))

((I'm just going to say we walked through Memphis, and head straight for DC ^-^))
Cassy and Mint had come back on the bus almost an instant after the guys had exclaimed it was boring without them. There was only a small bag with them and Mint tossed it up on her bunk without a word. Very sweetly, Mint came up to Bam and gave him a gentle kiss. "Didja miss me?" she giggled. Cassy kissed Ville's cheek before sitting down. "So where we headed now?" they questioned, their eyes glowing with excitement.
Washington DC
Memphis had gone perfectly well. But Cassy didn't tell of the quiet pains that were starting to grow. Only Mint could tell, and that was by the way Cassy grabbed things. Picking up a cup, holding on to a pencil. Both were weary of one another. Not weary, but cautious of Cassy.
So now the girls were backstage, and they were chatting as usual. Ville and HIM were out on stage, and Bam was catching it all on tape. "What if they lied and told you he was a boy but actually he's a girl?" "Then I'd name him Cassidy." "What was your first tour like? I heard that there were so many romantic places you went. And Ville was arrested?!" "The tour was amazing. You got to see places and go to cities you never would have dreamed. Yeah. We went to a bunch of romantic places, but the place where we hooked up was Summer Love central.... Yeah---" she stopped and gripped on to the couch. Her eyes flickered to Mint, and immediately Mint got the message. "I'll be right back," Mint said, standing up and bolting out of the room. Running into the crowd, she eventually (basically) tackled her fiance. "Bam! She's going into labor! We need her out of here!" Mint's eyes held truth as she tugged Bam toward backstage. In letting go, she came back to the room and patted Cassy's head and handed her a water before checking to make sure the song had ended. She then sauntered on stage, and quickly made her way to Ville. Setting her chin on his shoulder she smiled to the crowd but quickly said "Welcome to the world, lil Dmitri," then tugged his wrist a little and walked off. This was the night.
((Very yaoi. My friends did that pairing, and they got applause for skipping around the convention center))

Bam rushed backstage and found Cassy as Mint went to get Ville. "Okay, um, just breathe..." Bam told Cassy as he was already rummaging through the pockets of his coat lying in a chair, trying to find his cell phone. They needed a quick way out...
Without another word, Ville bolted from stage leaving the others standing there in confusion. He nearly ran into Seppo backstage. "What's going on, Ville?" Seppo asked, very confused as to why the show had stopped. "Cassy's going into labor!" he said before bolting away again to find his wife. Seppo started and nodded. He walked out onto stage where the fans were getting restless and Mige & Co. had no clue of what was going on. "Where's Ville gone?" Mige caught Seppo and whispered. "Cassy's gone into labor," Seppo whispered back and Mige's eyes widened. Mige motioned for Linde, Burton, and Gas, and took the bass off his shoulders and handed it to the bass tech. The others, still confused, also abandoned their instruments and followed Mige offstage. "I am very sorry, everyone," Seppo announced into the microphone. "There has been an emergency and HIM will not be able to finish the show. We promise to make it up to you all in the very near future. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this time of confusion..."
"What's going on?" Burton asked, adjusting his trademark cowboy hat as he, Gas, and Linde followed Mige through hallways backstage. "Cassy went into labor and they're taking her to the hospital now..." he said as they walked outside to the van. Vihtori, the driver, already had it started. "Where are they?" Gas asked, not seeing Ville or Cassy. "We'd draw too much attention in the bus..." Seppo entered the bus behind them. "We'll follow later..."
"Dude! You'd better be glad I was here or you'd be screwed, man!" Chris Raab said as he drove as fast as he could without breaking the speed limit. He was in DC scouting with Brandon DiCamillo and Dunn for filming spots. "Yeah, me too," Bam said from the passenger seat of the Hummer. "Thanks for coming on such short notice." "I was, what, three blocks away? No problem, Bam." Ville was in the back with Cassy and Mint. He was thankful that Bam was able to pull some strings for low-key transportation. "Are you doing okay?" Ville asked Cassy concernedly. "Here we are!" Raab pulled into the hospital's lot.
